We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our established outpatient healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical expertise, a commitment to patient-centered care, and experience providing primary care to adults. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships in a collaborative practice that emphasizes quality, continuity, and individualized care. Key Responsibilities Independently evaluate and manage complex adult medical conditions, including patients with multiple chronic diseases, atypical presentations, and diagnostic uncertainty. Assess and manage polypharmacy, medication interactions, and competing treatment priorities in medically complex patients. Evaluate persistent or unexplained symptoms, reconcile conflicting clinical findings, and reassess diagnoses when patients do not respond to treatment. Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans. Diagnose and manage common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD/asthma, obesity, chronic pain, sleep disorders, thyroid disorders, and mental health conditions, among others. Interpret routine diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, EKGs, and ankle-brachial index testing. Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness, adverse effects, and adherence. Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within our electronic medical record. Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment options. Provide clinical consultation for advanced practice providers and other members of the healthcare team. Mentor advanced practice providers and clinical staff through case-based teaching and constructive feedback. Schedule & Practice Environment Full-time outpatient position. Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. No inpatient responsibilities. No call requirements. Collaborative team environment with professional autonomy. Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff. Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Florida state medical license. Strong clinical judgment and proficiency in adult primary care and chronic disease management. Commitment to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and professional standards of care. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Practice Fusion and/or AdvancedMD. Experience evaluating and managing dermatologic conditions. Experience caring for older adults and patients with complex medical needs. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
