! and can work with very less to no supervision. Experience in customer service, ability to multi-task, strong computer skills, and scheduling strongly desired and will help ensure job success. Insurance knowledge is a must. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred!! As the medical front desk receptionist, you will be responsible for checking in patients, scheduling, verifying insurance benefits and authorizations, coordinating referrals and communicating with doctors offices, attorneys, and workers comp case managers. You will be managing our attorney injury cases. Organizational skills are a must have for this position. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and will greet patients with a smile and pleasant conversation and can also handle a high volume clinic all while demonstrating politeness.

Requirements:
Experience in an outpatient setting preferred. Experience with medical insurance authorization/verification. Bilingual English/Spanish.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Opens office at beginning of day and preps front office. Scheduling patient appointments and working with therapists to coordinate and facilitate patient flow. Answering telephones. Data Entry and completeness of medical information. Collects any amounts due for prior balances, co-pays and deductibles. Make and confirm appointments. Insurance benefits verification. Works with insurance companies, attorneys, doctors offices, and workers comp companies daily. Managing our attorney cases.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired. Experience in a medical office a must. EMR experience preferred. Experience in insurance benefit verification preferred. Scheduling experience highly preferred. High school graduate or equivalent. Upbeat personality. Knowledge of billing practices and medical terminology desirable. Must have basic office skills such as computer data entry, printers/scanners, and telephone experience. Ability to work independently, efficiently and also as a team member. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Good organizational skills. Requires standing, sitting, lifting, and physical ability to perform front office functions in a busy clinical environment. Will need to help on the clinic floor periodically and must be willing to help with shared facility responsibilities.

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
