This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, understands medical insurance, and can efficiently manage multiple responsibilities in a busy medical office. This is a full time position and the hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Responsibilities Verify Insurance eligibility and benefits Determine coverage, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and patient responsibility Gathers all necessary demographic, clinical and financial information for accurate and complete creation of profile Review incoming referrals and orders for accuracy and completeness Check patients in and out at the front office during clinic hours Assist with authorizations Qualifications Previous medical office, insurance verifications, authorization, scheduling, or patient intake experience preferred Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid plans preferred Strong computer and data entry skills Professional commications Excellent attention to detail Dependable attendance is essential Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned responsiblities Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance benefits If you are dependable, detail oriented, and enjoys helping patients, we would love to hear from you!
