1638-1662 Falmouth Rd Centerville, MA 02632 $49,000 Experience Required CPAP & Respiratory Patient Care Coordinator Enos Home Medical is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused CPAP & Respiratory Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing Respiratory and Sleep Therapy team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely equipment, insurance authorizations, and ongoing support throughout their respiratory care journey. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys helping patients, and is comfortable balancing customer service, scheduling, insurance coordination, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Coordinate CPAP and respiratory patient scheduling and follow-up appointments. Track patient compliance and assist with insurance documentation requirements. Process insurance authorizations for respiratory equipment. Manage reporting, order resolution, and documentation for respiratory patients. Request and obtain Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs), physician chart notes, and other required documentation. Monitor monthly authorization expiration reports and ensure timely renewals. Review and manage weekly stop/hold reports for respiratory equipment. Complete bi-weekly unconfirmed order reports and resolve outstanding issues. Schedule preventative maintenance appointments and overnight oximetry testing. Sort and process incoming electronic faxes daily. Answer incoming telephone calls regarding patient questions, equipment orders, scheduling, and general inquiries. Greet and assist patients and visitors in the showroom. Schedule appointments for the Respiratory Therapist. Provide daily administrative support to the Respiratory Therapist and assist with problem resolution. Cross-train and provide departmental coverage when team members are out of the office. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal communication skills with confidence discussing insurance coverage and patient financial responsibilities. Comfortable speaking with patients, physician offices, and insurance companies by phone. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications. Experience working in healthcare, durable medical equipment (DME), respiratory care, sleep medicine, or medical office administration is preferred. Insurance authorization and medical documentation experience is highly desirable. Preferred Experience Durable Medical Equipment (DME) CPAP or Sleep Therapy Respiratory Care Medical Insurance Verification and Authorizations Medical Scheduling Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Pay commensurate with experience.
