Patient Services Representative - Entry Level Clearview Dermatology Central Massachusetts Position Overview Clearview Dermatology is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Patient Services Representative to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable in a busy environment, and is eager to learn. Medical office experience is not required. We will provide training on our systems, procedures, and the responsibilities of the position. This position plays an important role in creating a positive patient experience and supporting the day-to-day operations of our front desk. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience Check patients in and out for appointments Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Collect copayments and other patient payments Assist with insurance and referral-related tasks Enter and maintain accurate patient information in our electronic medical record system Communicate with patients regarding appointments and office procedures Work closely with medical assistants, providers, and other front-office staff Maintain an organized and professional reception area Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality Perform other administrative duties as needed What We're Looking For The most important qualifications are a positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to help people.
