We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Front Desk Patient Care Specialist to become the face of our practice. About the Position As our Front Desk Patient Care Specialist, you'll be the first impression our patients have of Open Smiles Dental. You'll help ensure every patient feels welcomed, informed, and cared for from the moment they call our office until they leave with a smile. Experience using Eaglesoft Dental Software is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth Answer incoming phone calls using excellent telephone etiquette Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Check patients in and out efficiently Collect co-pays, deductibles, balances, and other patient payments Review treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Enter and maintain accurate patient information in Eaglesoft Present treatment estimates when appropriate Assist with insurance claims and pre-authorizations Manage appointment reminders and patient recalls Complete end-of-day balancing and reports when assigned Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff Support office goals for schedule efficiency and patient satisfaction QualificationsRequired Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience Experience with Eaglesoft Practice Management Software High school diploma or GED Strong computer and typing skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Knowledge of dental insurance, PPO plans, and benefit verification Experience presenting treatment plans and collecting payments Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus We're Looking for Someone Who...
