Key Responsibilities Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address diverse mental health issues and relational dynamics. Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and set achievable goals for clients. Utilize your knowledge of family systems theory and systemic interventions to enhance communication and address family stressors. Provide immediate support in crisis situations to ensure client safety and maintain a therapeutic environment. Document client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Educate clients on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and coping mechanisms to improve relational well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers for holistic client care. Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in marriage and family therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Pyramid Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. Our clients seek support for a variety of issues, including relationship challenges, parenting concerns, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your role is essential in fostering their growth and fostering healthier relationships, ultimately contributing to a more stable and supportive environment in their lives. Qualifications Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland is required. A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory. Compensation and Benefits Pyramid Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
