Job Description

Kennebec Behavioral Health, established in 1960 to provide comprehensive behavioral health services , named one of the Best Places to Work in Maine for the last 5 yearsand now proudly recognized as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), currently has a full-time opening for a Central Registration Specialist to work in our Skowhegan Clinic. If you have experience working with the public, excellent customer service skills in a healthcare setting, we're looking for you! The Central Registration Specialist position provides support to clients & visitors by answering incoming telephone calls, greeting clients & visitors as they enter the building and directing them as needed. This position also coordinates with the physician and clinician scheduling process; as well as assisting with the billing process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and 1 to 3 years of health care related clerical experience, preferably in area of registration, billing or medical records. Why KBH?
