Chest Medicine Associates Patient Care Rooming Technician South Portland, Maine Chest Medicine Associates is seeking a Patient Care Rooming Technician , to be based in their South Portland, ME office. Requirements of the
Patient Care Rooming Technician:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Prior experience in a medical office environment is required Experience as a patient care rooming technician is preferred (on-the-job training is available for select candidates) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy, professional environment Effective and tactful communication skills when working with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods Ability to commute to the South Portland office Monday through Friday. Patient Care Rooming Technician:
Opening and closing exam rooms each day Keeping exam rooms clean, sanitized, tidy, and fully stocked Escorting patients to exam rooms in a polite and professional manner Obtaining and recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, etc.) in the electronic health record Administering patient questionnaires Recording patient information and medications in the electronic health record Faxing medical and equipment orders to other providers Assisting with completion of forms and paperwork Helping schedule appointments, testing, or procedures as needed Skillcloud HCM Solutions has been engaged to manage this search.
