But there are still everyday things that can feel familiar: getting cleaned up for the day, wearing their own clothes, sitting in their favorite chair, having their hair done the way they like it, and simply feeling comfortable. As a Hospice CNA with Superior Hospice, you help patients hold onto those pieces of everyday life . Community-based patient care Build meaningful relationships with patients and families Independence throughout your workday Support from experienced hospice nurses and an interdisciplinary care team Provide care centered around comfort, dignity, and quality of life Personal Care Becomes Personal You may help a patient shower when doing it independently is no longer possible. You may help them get dressed, change their bedding, reposition comfortably, or safely move from their bed to their favorite chair. Those tasks might sound ordinary. That's exactly why they matter. Hospice patients are experiencing enough change. Your care can help preserve their routines, preferences, independence, and dignity when those things become harder to maintain. And because you're providing hands-on care, you may notice things others don't. A change in mobility. Less interest in eating. Increased fatigue. New discomfort. A change in skin condition or behavior. Those observations matter, and so does your voice on the hospice team. What You'll Do As a Hospice CNA, you'll: Travel to scheduled hospice patients throughout Southern Minnesota Provide care in patients' homes and long-term care communities Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and activities of daily living Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning Provide comfort-focused personal care Encourage independence whenever appropriate Observe physical, functional, or behavioral changes Communicate concerns and updates to the hospice nursing team Provide companionship and reassurance to patients Support families through professional and compassionate interactions Complete accurate and timely visit documentation Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary hospice team Bring the Caregiving Experience You've Already Built Previous hospice experience is preferred, but it isn't required . If you've developed strong hands-on caregiving skills in home care or a long-term care setting , those skills can translate well into hospice. We're interested in experienced CNAs who understand personal care, know how to recognize changes in a patient's condition, and can be trusted to provide excellent care when working independently. We're looking for someone who is: An active Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Experienced providing hands-on personal care Dependable and consistent Compassionate and professional with patients and families Observant and comfortable communicating changes to the clinical team Comfortable traveling between patients throughout Southern Minnesota Able to work independently while staying connected to the hospice team Equipped with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Choose the Schedule That Works Better for You We currently have two Full-Time availability options: 8:00 a.m.

Whether you'd rather start early and finish before dinner or have your mornings available and work later into the day, we're looking for someone who can provide consistency to the patients and families depending on us. Some of the Most Meaningful Care Is Also the Most Ordinary Helping someone bathe. Getting them comfortably dressed. Changing their bedding. Helping them into their favorite chair. Making sure they're positioned comfortably. These may be things you've done hundreds of times as a CNA. But when someone is nearing the end of life, the way those things are done can make an enormous difference in how that person experiences their day . That's what makes hospice CNA care different. It's not about doing more. It's about recognizing how much what you already do matters.
