We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Cannabis Lead Patient Care Specialist to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical cannabis market into a reality. Our Full-Time Cannabis Lead Patient Care Specialist will work out of our location in Bridgeton, MO. This full-time opportunity will start at $17/hour, plus pooled tips, working approximately 40 hours a week, with the schedule to include weekends and possible evening shifts during the week. The Lead PCS (Patient Care Specialist) is responsible for leading the PCS team in partnership with the Assistant Managers and General Manager. This will include product training, systems training, coaching, and working with new hires. The Lead PCS will also be expected to perform all opening duties when required, including disarming the alarm and ensuring the store is set up for the day. The Lead PCS reports to the Manager on-duty and General Manager. The Lead PCS is responsible for upholding Proper Cannabis's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Opening the store and completing all opening duties including setting the floor, bringing out registers, and setting up fulfillment Reviewing the menu and making updates as needed Staying up to date with new strains, products, changes in laws, and industry trends Educating patients on all types of cannabis including flower, edibles, and concentrates based on the patient's needs and/or requests Reviewing orders and entering discounts as needed Filling out the store flow chart and overseeing breaks and lunches Moving product from the vault into fulfillment in order to maintain an accurate representation of what we have available Promoting a positive work environment that is customer service focused Verifying paperwork, documentation, and identification of all patients Working with all new hires on product training and system training Ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the store at all times Complying with established state, local, and company policies and procedures Other duties assigned by the Manager on-duty or
General Manager Qualifications:
The following education, skills and experience are required for this role: Open availability and flexibility High School Diploma or GED 1+ years in retail and/or guest services 1+ years of cannabis retail experience Passion for medical cannabis Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain Missouri Agent ID Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Customer service oriented and team centered Strong organizational skills and attention to detail The following education, skills and experience are preferred for this role: Familiarity with Missouri medical cannabis laws and regulations Environment This position requires the ability to reach, bend, stoop, sit, and stand, and carry and lift up to 30lbs.
