Job Description

Physician-led Dermatology Practice seeking Patient Access and Support Specialist. The ideal candidate for this position is responsible, reliable, has a positive, friendly attitude and is excited to serve patients. Candidate must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, work at a fast pace, have a desire to learn daily, and provide a great patient experience above all else. Eager to learn both administrative and clinical sides of private practice.
Responsibilities:
Check-in/Check-out (copays, deductible, coinsurance) Able to understand and discuss insurance generalities Answer incoming calls, return calls, triage messages Schedule appointments Maintain clean and welcoming front desk and waiting area General office support ( scan, copy, file, shred) Communications with other offices Comfortable with technology Able to carry conversation with anyone Cross-train to assist with clinical admin duties such as prior authorizations, patient call backs, documentation, etc.
Education:
Associates Degree preferred CPR/BLS certification preferred Proficient in Google Suite Prior medical office experience required

25-30 hours per week Work setting: In-person Private practice
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
