Admissions Coordinator Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Elizabeth City, NC We are seeking a compassionate and organized Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process for our residents. Summary/Objective As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire admission process, including tours, admission paperwork, and medical record reviews. You will also develop and maintain professional relationships with the surrounding medical community to ensure steady referral sources for our facility. Essential Functions Coordinate tours of the facility with perspective Residents, families, and referrers Assist Residents and family members with completing the admission process by assuring all admission paperwork is completed and necessary financial and medical records are obtained Ensure appropriate preparation of room prior to the arrival of new Residents Meet with Residents and family on the day of admission to answer any questions and ensure a smooth admission process Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent, effective admissions, discharges, and Resident room transfers Develop and maintain a referral base Provide daily census report to the interdisciplinary team Assist with the development and implementation of long-range and short-term marketing plans Coordinate and participate in presentations about the facility to healthcare professionals and other potential referral sources Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent One year experience in a marketing role in healthcare or similar experience Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field Two years of related experience What We Offer Competitive wages Flexible schedule Paid time off Same day pay Employee discounts Company perks If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
