Job Summary We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our ophthalmology office. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in basic computer skills (specifically typing), and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Efficiently check patients in and out for their appointments. Schedule appointments while following scheduling guidelines. As needed, covering the phone line/operator position. Handle correspondence via email and phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Qualifications Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities Bilingual proficiency is preferred Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Strong typing skills and proofreading abilities for document accuracy Our office is a busy medical practice seeing 100+ patients a day. hours, working 15-30 hours a week. Part-time employees are not eligible for employer-sponsored insurance benefits or paid time off (PTO). Our office is open 8a-5p Monday - Friday. Hourly rate starts at $17/hr with no healthcare/medical background.
