Full-Time Employment Based on Performance & Business Need Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and professional Medical Call Line Support Specialist to assist our growing, multi-site medical practice with increased call volume. This is a 1099 independent contractor position responsible for supporting multiple clinic locations by answering incoming clinical calls, gathering accurate information from patients, and routing messages to the appropriate clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and understands the importance of excellent communication and patient service. There is potential for this position to transition into a full-time opportunity based on performance and organizational needs. Responsibilities Answer incoming clinical and patient calls professionally and efficiently Obtain accurate and complete information from callers Document and route messages to the appropriate clinical team or clinic Support call volume across multiple practice locations Maintain appropriate patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional phone etiquette Pay close attention to details when documenting patient information Communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, and practice leadership Help ensure calls and messages are directed appropriately and in a timely manner What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Reliable and dependable An excellent communicator Detail-oriented and organized Professional and courteous on the phone Comfortable managing a high volume of calls Able to support multiple clinics and prioritize appropriately Able to work independently while still functioning as part of a larger team Familiar with healthcare terminology and medical office workflows Previous medical office, call center, patient service, or healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
