Your Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-service-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our medical office team. This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and performing a variety of front-office duties including patient check-in/check-out and collection of co-payments and outstanding balances.
What You'll Do:
Answer and route incoming calls. Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar. Enter patient demographics in NextGen EPM. Verify insurance coverage and collect required payments. Scan and upload patient documents to the EHR. Obtain signed ABNs for noncovered services. Review accounts and collect balances. Coordinate patient enrollment in the Patient Portal. Greet patients and visitors. Ensure all required paperwork is completed and scanned. Schedule followups at checkout. Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, clients, and staff. Follow company policies as well as OSHA and HIPAA standards and guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by physicians or management.

23 years of healthcare office experience required.
