As a Patient Account Representative, you'll be the voice of compassion and clarity, guiding patients through their billing inquiries and helping them find solutions with empathy and professionalism.
What You'll Do:
As a Patient Account Representative, you will: Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries. Manage inbound and outbound calls with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Resolve patient concerns related to insurance, billing, and account balances. Maintain and update patient account records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Work with the patient to understand their financial needs and find a payment option that works best for them. Perform billing functions such as collecting payments, arranging payment plans and follow up on inadequate payments. Uphold compliance with state and federal regulations and client-specific policies.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in medical billing or a related field preferred, but willing to train the right individual. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to excellence. Why Join Us?
