Job Description

An optometry practice is seeking a dedicated and organized team player. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, helping to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. Jobs to include insurance verification, answering the phones, scheduling, billing, checking patients in/out, and making recall phone calls. Cross training in other areas of the office may apply as well. The office is open Monday-Friday, no weekends or late nights. Hourly rate determined by experience.
Key Responsibilities Scheduling and Communication:
Answer and manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and make recall phone calls to patients.
Billing and Insurance:
Verify and explain insurance eligibility and benefits, process billing and payments, and handle patient inquiries related to billing.
Office Collaboration:
Work closely with the rest of the office team, including the doctors and technicians, to ensure efficient patient flow.
Cross-Training:
Participate in cross-training in other areas of the office as needed to support overall practice operations.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 36.0 per week
