Role Description This is an optional full-time or part time , on-site role for a Medical Office Receptionist, located in Ridgewood, NJ. Candidates with a Medical Receptionist Administration Certificate are preferred The Medical Office Receptionist will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, greeting patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling phone inquiries. Additional responsibilities include verifying insurance information, organizing patient records, and ensuring the smooth functioning of office activities while delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications Strong skills in Phone Etiquette and handling receptionist duties. Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and managing medical office workflows. Experience with Insurance Verification processes and administrative tasks in a medical setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems is an asset. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and records. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with medical office software and scheduling tools. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification related to medical office administration is a plus. Employment Type In Person 32 hours/ 4 days a week, Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday 7:45 am to 3:45 pm
