Lenahan Chiropractic•Center for Posture Improvement Patient Rehab Assistant•Corrective Care & Posture Focus $24/hr | Full-Time | South Amboy, NJ Role Summary Lenahan Chiropractic is hiring a motivated and detail-driven Patient Rehab Assistant to support our clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in exercise science who are seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced, structured clinical setting. This is an active, patient-facing position where you'll spend your shift assisting individuals through guided rehabilitation exercises and spinal remodeling protocols focused on posture correction and restoring spinal alignment-this is not a passive role. Working under the supervision of the doctor, you will work closely with patients, guiding rehabilitation exercises and supporting traction and spinal remodeling protocols.
Responsibilities include:
Assist patients to and from the waiting area and rehabilitation space to maintain smooth clinic flow Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety Track and document patient progress between visits and report updates to the doctor Communicate patient feedback, concerns, or changes to the doctor and front desk team Maintain accurate and up-to-date rehabilitation records in patient charts Set up and oversee spinal rehabilitation and traction equipment as instructed Educate patients on the correct use of spinal orthotic devices for at-home care Keep the rehabilitation area clean, organized, and ready for patient use at all times Consistently follow established clinical workflows and protocols
Qualifications Core Requirements:
Ability to follow structured systems High attention to detail Physically able to assist patients as needed Dependable, punctual, and works well within a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a systems-driven, fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Educational Background:
Health Sciences Kinesiology Exercise Science Physical Expectations Ability to assist with patient positioning and movement Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods Schedule (Approx. 29 Hours/Week Initially)

PM Tuesday:
2:00 PM•6:30
PM Wednesday:
8:30 AM•12:30 PM & 2:15 PM•6:30
PM Thursday:
8:30 AM•12:30 PM & 2:15 PM•6:30
PM Growth Opportunity/Additional Hours:
This position is anticipated to expand to include Friday hours within 90-180 days, increasing total weekly hours based on individual performance and overall clinic growth.
