Qualifications:
over the age of 18 Equivalent work experience in the healthcare or marketing field is preferred. Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check. Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Position Summary:
You are responsible for assisting in the facilitation of admission of clients from the surrounding community, area hospitals, or other healthcare agencies to the facility. Additionally, you are responsible for completing administrative work as assigned by the Admissions Manager. This position is responsible for assisting to maintain or exceed the budgeted census and patient mix, verifying financial assets and insurance coverage, completing admission contracts, room assignment preparation, and other duties as assigned. This position meets with families to discuss the services provided by the facility and the short and long-term healthcare needs of the resident. Other responsibilities may include, but are not necessarily limited to the below performance areas. Other duties may be assigned.
