Job Description

We are a thriving Audiology practice in the greater Reno/Sparks area and we are currently seeking an outgoing, charismatic, well organized front office receptionist to join our team and enhance our culture. This person consciously makes a positive contribution to the practice, to the clients and to the vendors and/or partners that we do business with on a daily basis. Understands that he/she is not only representing his or herself, but our practice and our brand. The right candidate is committed to provide exceptional customer service to our patients and is also committed to provide that same service laterally within the practice. Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient co-pays and /or any other payment due at time of service. Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information and abiding by all HIPAA regulations. Contributes to team effort by supporting team and providing lateral service whenever necessary.

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
