Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM |
Onsite Contract Duration:
13 week with a strong possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients, visitors, vendors, and staff while providing excellent customer service
Register and check in patients accurately within the EHR system
Verify demographic, insurance, and billing information during registration
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments according to practice guidelines
Answer incoming phone calls, address patient inquiries, take messages, and route calls appropriately
Collect copays and other patient payments via cash, check, or credit card procedures
Verify insurance coverage, referrals, authorizations, and Medicaid eligibility as needed
Manage appointment task lists and follow up on cancelled or missed appointments
Provide clerical support including data entry, mail distribution, document preparation, and correspondence
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of prior administrative, patient registration, medical office, or healthcare customer service experience
EPIC experience required
