With years of experience, the physicians of Associates for Women's Medicine demonstrate professionalism and expertise at every level. Offering a full range of obstetrics and gynecology services from the initial exam, to childbirth and through menopause and beyond, our goal is to offer patient centered medical care based on mutual trust and communication.Position Summary:
The Medical Office Receptionist performs front desk duties including answering phones, greeting patients, processing forms, and maintaining patient records.Primary responsibilities:
Perform front desk duties including checking patients in and out, updating patient demographics, verifying insurance, tracking patients, answering incoming phone calls, and scheduling follow up appointments and referrals Run weekly task reports for assigned providers including no shows, provider weekly schedules and recalls Perform a variety of clerical duties including preparing mailings, filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying Open, sort, file, and distribute incoming mail and faxes Required skills/education: High school diploma or GED required One to three years experience working in reception in a medical settingKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer proficiency including word processing and data entry Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously. Ability to work productively in a fast paced, stressful environment. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.Nice to have:
