Job Description

Part time, 20 hours per week. Hours vary from 5:15 a.m.

1:45 p.m., 6:15 a.m.
6:15 p.m., 8:15 a.m.
4:45 p.

m. Weekend Rotation is required. Creates a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors, serving as entity resource. Registers inpatient and outpatient when needed. In addition, obtains necessary signatures, completes paperwork, and distributes correctly. Checks and rechecks all paperwork before it leaves the area for complete information and accuracy. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. High school graduate or equivalent. Previous Admitting/Registration experience required. Knowledge of medical insurances preferred.
