Job Description

Front Desk position in a busy medical office setting - Bend Oregon Busy, privately owned surgical eye care clinic in Bend, OR has an opening for the individual who enjoys helping others, to join our dynamic team. Experience and skills required (at a minimum) include - customer service (face to face and over the phone), proficient computer data entry, quick learner and memory retention of details, professionalism, thorough and accurate work completion, time management (very fast paced environment), multi-tasking, and promptness in the follow through and completion of daily tasks. This position is responsible for greeting, registering, and assisting patients in our clinic for their eyecare medical needs. Answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and receiving patients who are checking in are major components of this position as well as other medical office business related tasks. Medical office experience will be strongly considered. Requires sitting up to 10 hours per day, lifting up to 15 lbs as needed. We offer great working environment with talented and compassionate doctors and a fun staff that works well together. Our emphasis is on excellent patient care with outstanding surgical outcomes for cataract, refractive (LASIK) and eyelid surgeries. We also provide general eye care health treatment from our provider team of Ophthalmologists & Optometrists. Teamwork skills and choosing a positive attitude are fundamental requirements of all team members. If you are looking for a FAST paced position and have compassion for helping others, this could be the right fit for you! This is a part-time position offering approximately 30 hours a week. 3-4 days a week, depending on availability. Required days would be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
