38 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary Under general supervision, the Patient Service Rep (PSR) performs a variety of support functions for a department and/or program. Duties may include all or part of the following: Greeting, instructing, and directing patients and visitors. Scheduling, registering, and obtaining preauthorization for treatment from insurance, Medicare, or other agencies for patients. Serving as liaison between patient and medical support staff. Functioning as cashier, receptionist, and referral clerk, as well as maintaining records and completing data entry. Monitoring office services and supplies. Position Qualifications Experience Previous clerical/administrative experience, or previous clinical or hospital experience

Certification/Licensure BLS:
