Regenerative Orthopedic Center is seeking an experienced and dependable Patient Access Lead to support our Oregon City clinic. This position provides day-to-day leadership for the front desk team while remaining actively involved in patient check-in, registration, scheduling, and other patient access functions. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare professional who enjoys supporting others, solving problems, and creating an organized and welcoming experience for patients. This is a hands-on lead position for someone who can balance front desk responsibilities with staff guidance, workflow coordination, and training. Key Responsibilities Provide daily guidance and support to Patient Access Representatives. Coordinate front desk workflows and coverage to keep clinic operations running smoothly. Serve as the first point of contact for routine staff questions and front office concerns. Assist patients with check-in, registration, scheduling, and other front desk needs. Respond to patient concerns professionally and escalate significant issues when appropriate. Help ensure patient demographic and insurance information is complete and accurate. Assist with onboarding and training new Patient Access team members. Provide ongoing coaching and reinforce department procedures and service expectations. Maintain training materials, workflow guides, and departmental resources. Communicate staffing, workflow, and service concerns to the Patient Access Manager. Work closely with clinical teams, providers, Billing, and other departments. Identify opportunities to improve front office efficiency and the patient experience. Provide direct front desk coverage as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and ROC policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of experience in healthcare patient access, medical reception, or a similar healthcare administrative position. Previous lead, training, or supervisory experience preferred. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Experience using an electronic medical record system preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide clear guidance and constructive support to team members. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Dependable, professional, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.
