SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for identification and maintenance of data on all cancer patients following the Cancer Program Standards as set forth by the ACOS Commission on Cancer and the Pennsylvania Cancer Registry regulations. Provides statistical information and handles study requests and special projects as needed. Serves as a technical resource for the Cancer Institute. Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Penn State Health in its efforts to provide quality care, regulatory, and accrediting organization compliance, and staff and provider satisfaction. and patient satisfaction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
(S): Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or Oncology Data Specialist-Certified (ODS-C)
