LymphaCare is seeking a dedicated Patient Financial Services Specialist. In this role, the Patient Financial Services Specialist would be responsible for ensuring that our patients understand the breakdown of liability within their account

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting patients with account overview Educating patients on billing procedures and payment options Reviewing patient aging reports and making initial contact to the patients Identifying accounts where Insurance reimbursed patient directly for services Provide excellent customer service Work with other internal departments to ensure patients are given the most accurate information Assist with special projects as needed Abide by HIPAA regulations and standards, as well as regulatory requirements Requirements Excellent written and verbal skills Top notch organizational skills Ability to multitask Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment Positive "can-do" attitude Desire to work in a fast paced and high productivity environment at an innovative and dynamic company Experience in an insurance or healthcare related field (eg- medical office, DME company, health plan, etc.) Knowledge of healthcare related terminology Experience with electronic faxing MS Office (Word & Excel), Google Sheets, and Adobe Acrobat/PDF experience Brightree experience a plus
