Monday-Friday Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience) Fairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an organized, customer-focused professional with prior Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) admissions experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Admissions Coordinator will work closely with and report directly to the Admissions Director to ensure a seamless admissions process while providing outstanding customer service to residents, families, hospitals, and referral sources. Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities Coordinate the admissions process from referral through admission. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations. Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and commercial insurance plans. Communicate with hospitals, case managers, physicians, families, and referral partners. Complete admissions paperwork accurately and efficiently. Assist with resident room readiness and coordinate with interdisciplinary departments. Maintain accurate documentation and census information. Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth transition for new residents. Support the Admissions Director with daily admissions and marketing activities as needed. Admissions Coordinator Qualifications Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) admissions experience is required. Working knowledge of the admissions process in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. Basic understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and insurance verification. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with PointClickCare or other electronic medical record systems is preferred.
