Intake Coordinator -
Part Time Location:
Rittenhouse Square, Center City, Philadelphia About us Professional Psychology Services, PC, is an established out-patient mental health company, with main offices in Rittenhouse Square. PPS serves national Managed Care and Employee Assistance Programs as their local provider, as well as private pay clients. Currently, we are seeking a part-time Intake Coordinator to join our diversified, professional, clinical team.
Requirements:
  • Proficient computer skills Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Self-starter and a quick learner
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Some college courses preferred Previous healthcare, insurance, or administrative experience
  • References required Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate new client intakes
  • Verification of insurance benefits and authorizations as needed Answer calls and respond to inquiries from clients, insurance companies, and EAP representatives
  • Ensure that all requested forms, consents, and documentation are in place Complete and submit online credentialing applications
  • Follow up with insurance and EAP companies as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to the practice We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, and reliable .
