Work Environment This role offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues in an outpatient setting. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. As a remote team member, you will use various telehealth platforms and electronic health records systems to engage with clients effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop customized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions, to facilitate meaningful change in your clients' lives. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation following HIPAA guidelines, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care through frequent case consultation meetings and peer review sessions. Engage in community outreach initiatives to educate clients and their families about mental health resources, treatment options, and coping strategies. Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in mental health to continuously improve service delivery and efficacy in patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will provide care tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing a compassionate, client-centered approach to foster trust and engagement in the therapeutic process. Qualifications A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, with the ability to adapt to the specific needs of each client. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills to develop effective treatment strategies. Preferred Experience Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems. Previous involvement in comprehensive treatment planning and case management. Background in coordinating interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care.
