Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to communicate client progress, address needs, and highlight potential concerns impacting treatment outcomes. Participate actively in the development of comprehensive treatment and discharge plans based on psychosocial assessments, incorporating accepted social work practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our mental health counseling team primarily works with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing various psychological challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex issues such as substance use disorders. You will focus on delivering culturally competent care that respects and understands the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required. Possession of an independent license is essential, such as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting is required to ensure adequate understanding of therapeutic practices and patient interaction.
