Salary:

$20.26

•$24.43 : Complete efficient and organized registration, admission, and insurance verification for all inpatients and outpatients. Provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate information is collected. Inform patients of their rights per HIPAA regulations and Harris Health System policy. Ensure all accounts contain comprehensive and accurate data for timely billing and optimal reimbursement.

Academic Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements:

One (1) year experience in a customerserviceoriented environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Aboveaverage verbal communication (heavy public contact). Ability to write and compose reports. Proficient in PC use and MS Word. Mathematics skills. People interaction skills. Ability to work with little supervision. Ability to handle stressful situations. Excellent people skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family members, and coworkers. Ability to handle detailed work accurately and rapidly. Must be able to effectively multitask. Must have PC skills (equipment operated).

Work Schedule:

Weekends Flexible Eligible for telecommute Overtime Travel
