What You'll Do As a Patient Care Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive. This role blends front office responsibilities with clinical support, offering a dynamic and rewarding work experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and checking in patients with professionalism and warmth. Scheduling appointments and managing provider calendars. Answering phone calls, texts, and emails promptly and professionally. Verifying patient information and maintaining accurate medical records. Processing payments and explaining memberships, packages, and treatment plans. Educating patients about skincare products and aesthetic services. Assisting with patient flow and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Preparing treatment rooms and assisting providers with procedures as needed. Maintaining inventory and keeping clinical and reception areas organized. Following HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring your passion for patient care and strong organizational skills to the table.
Our ideal candidate has:
Medical Assistant (MA) certification (required). At least 3 years of experience in a medical office, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical spa (preferred). Excellent communication and customer service skills. A professional appearance and a positive attitude. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfort with learning about aesthetic treatments and skincare products. Experience with EMR or practice management software (Boulevard experience is a plus). The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Who You Are We're looking for someone who:
