Job Summary:
Serves as the initial focal point of the patient experience. Responsible for answering and routing calls, scheduling appointments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Schedule patients for appointments Verifying patient information in the health record system Verify medical insurance and/or determines patient eligibility Collecting and filing demographic information and collecting fees due for services rendered Registering patients for provider visits Follow office protocols for patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
High level of organizational skill. High level of attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure. Proficient in using computers and basic office equipment. Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred. Good oral/written communication skills
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates degree or
Certification:
