Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various clerical tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, contributing to a positive patient experience. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently. Maintain patient records by filing documents accurately and ensuring all information is up-to-date. Assist with medical collections and verify insurance information, including Medicare details. Coordinate office management tasks, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication. Handle administrative duties such as data entry, correspondence, and maintaining office organization. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar clerical role is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and processes, particularly related to Medicare and hospital settings. Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism..
