Job Description

Job Summary As Medical Office Front Desk, you will be the first point of contact for our office, providing exceptional patient service and patient registration support. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and positive patient experiences. Bi-lingual
  • Spanish, required. Not an entry level position. Must have prior experience in related healthcare position. Duties
  • Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer, manage and direct phone calls promptly including detailed messages.
  • Verify commercial insurance through online portals and via phone.
  • Complete Patient Registration and demographics accurately and efficiently
  • Schedule Patient appointments and maintain calendars
  • Assist with back office (medical assistant and physician) management tasks as needed
  • Provide bilingual support when required (Spanish) Skills
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system while maintaining professional composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to accurately and comprehensively verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage details, and benefits prior to patient appointments for PPO, HMO, & other plans.
  • Proven Familiarity with medical terminology and medications
  • experience in primary care office preferred
  • Prior healthcare experience to properly triage to ensure clinically accurate scheduling and patient routing.
  • Apply strong organizational skills and high attention to detail to record, verify, and relay accurate messages for office staff.
  • Ability to work independently, strong independent problem-solving skills while collaborating smoothly with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
