As a member of our onsite therapeutic team, you will collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to create individualized treatment plans. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and a variety of therapeutic modalities, ensuring that you have everything you need to deliver the highest standard of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, taking a holistic approach to their treatment. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices, discussing options with patients and their families. Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and advanced modalities, to facilitate recovery and alleviate pain. Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring that all treatment sessions and outcomes are recorded accurately as required by healthcare standards. Adjust treatment plans as needed, reassessing goals and developing new strategies in response to patient progress or setbacks. Assist in fitting patients for assistive devices, such as braces or walkers, providing training to maximize their effectiveness in daily living. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective therapeutic techniques and compliance to enhance rehabilitation outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, contributing to team meetings, and sharing best practices with colleagues. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice serves a diverse range of clients, including children and adults recovering from various injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will be equipped to cater to patients with orthopedic, neurological, and rehabilitative needs, providing individualized care that promotes optimal recovery and functionality. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required. A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
