Full-time . Monday to Friday Summary NOVA Pediatric Orthopaedics is seeking a friendly, dependable, and highly organized Patient Service Representative / Medical Assistant to join our team full-time.

This hybrid position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to expand their expertise and contribute to both front-office operations and back-office clinical care. The successful candidate will apply their existing skills to strengthen practice operations, improve clinical workflows, and support specialized musculoskeletal care. Responsibilities Welcome patients and families and provide a positive, professional experience Check patients in and out Answer telephone calls and respond to patient questions Schedule and confirm appointments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Collect copayments and patient balances Maintain accurate electronic health records Obtain referrals and assist with insurance documentation Escort patients to examination rooms Obtain and document medical histories and vital signs Update medications, allergies, and other patient information Prepare, clean, and restock examination rooms Assist providers during examinations and procedures Coordinate prescriptions, referrals, imaging, forms, and follow-up care Assist with braces, splints, and other orthopaedic equipment after training and under provider direction Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety requirements Perform additional administrative and clinical duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant training, certification, or relevant clinical experience preferred Previous experience in a medical office preferred Pediatric or orthopaedic experience is a plus Excellent communication and customer-service skills Comfortable working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using electronic health records and scheduling systems Professional, dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Bilingual skills are a plus Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
