Job Description
Part-Time Shift 1pm

- Answer phone in a positive, professional, timely manner; with a shared goal of enhancing the patient experience.
- Verify / update / enter patient demographics accurately in our practice management system.
- Confirm eligibility and notify patients of any insurance referral and/or authorization requirement.
- Schedule appointments
- Discuss financial matters, as needed ahead of appointments.
- Answer or direct communication utilizing avenues of communication, i.e. patient portal, our texting platform and /or verbally
- Remind patients of upcoming and follow-up appointments, scheduling accordingly
- Create growth through outstanding knowledge of services and products.
- Encourage feedback with patients about their experience before and after their appointment.
- Assist in maintaining in/outbound patient referrals by scheduling or contacting patients.
- Cultivate a warm, inviting environment not only for our patients but also team members.
- Maintain a positive attitude and friendly outgoing demeanor.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Stay current on process, workflow and protocols in place utilizing tools provided to you
- Maintain a professional appearance always.
- Maintain patient confidence by safeguarding medical records and keeping patient information confidential per HIPAA guidelines. Qualifications Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior Medical office experience preferred
