Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a respiratory care professional in a hospital environment, providing vital therapy to diverse patients across all units. This contract role is available for either 36 or 48 hours per week, with shift options designed to fit a variety of schedules. Schedule/Hours 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm start) 36 or 48-hour contract options Every other weekend rotation Voluntary on-call shifts Qualifications and Experience Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with minimum 2 years' experience accepted BLS certification required;
ACLS/APLS
preferred Experience with Cerner or EPIC (EMR) systems required for travelers First-time travelers welcome with at least 2 years' experience Strong skills in adult general and critical care environments Key Responsibilities Deliver respiratory therapy services for adult patients in general and critical care settings Float as needed to any similar unit or patient location within the hospital Efficiently utilize technology including Cerner EMR, Omnicell for medication dispensing, Spacelabs monitors, and a variety of ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Participate in comprehensive orientation (24 hours classroom, 24 hours on-unit) for those new or returning after a year's absence Benefits and Perks Flexible contract lengths to fit your needs Supportive work environment with thorough onboarding Opportunity to work with the latest respiratory care technology Advance your career while making a tangible difference for patients in a dynamic hospital setting.
