This contract opportunity is designed for individuals who excel in conducting advanced imaging procedures and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate patient assessments.
Key Qualifications:
Certification and registry in CT (Computed Tomography) required Experience with PET/CT imaging strongly preferred Current credentialing through ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Knowledge of safety practices and protocols for imaging and radiation Proficient in operating and troubleshooting advanced CT/PET imaging equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff and patients Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Typical Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Operate, monitor, and maintain imaging equipment for optimal performance Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff on accurate scan interpretation Maintain detailed imaging records and documentation in accordance with privacy regulations Monitor patient responses and report any adverse effects Follow all infection control, quality assurance, and departmental safety guidelines
