Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into an advanced imaging environment and play a vital role in cardiac patient care as an experienced Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic schedule and the chance to collaborate closely with a team of highly skilled professionals.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week
Days:
6:30 am - 7:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab experience Previous hands-on experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting Strong understanding of imaging equipment, sterile procedures, and cardiac anatomy Ability to monitor patients, assist with procedures, and respond in critical situations Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist cardiologists and medical staff during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures Operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring clarity and accuracy of imaging results Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control standards Prepare patients for procedures, including obtaining consents and educating them about the process Document patient data and procedural outcomes accurately in electronic medical records Participate in emergency response protocols and provide rapid support as needed Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure equipment is functioning optimally for every procedure
