Job Duties:

Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy, adjusting care plans as needed. Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in hospital and department expectations and professional organizations. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals. The RCP demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution. Pulmonary Function Technologists may complete the same duties as RCPs and provide additional specialized testing of patients (PETS). The RCP follows/adheres to guidelines of care.

Job Requirements:

One Year experience in acute care respiratory therapy. Experience in Bronchoscopy resourcing. Pulmonary Rehabilitation experience. Good written and verbal communication skills.
