Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Take on an impactful role dedicated to respiratory patient care and join an expert team of healthcare professionals. This contract opportunity offers a chance to use your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic clinical environment, supporting patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour day shifts per week 36 hours per week guaranteed
Qualifications:
Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS Proof of negative TB test within the past 12 months Experience in acute clinical settings preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform assessments and deliver respiratory care interventions according to physician orders Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and advanced airway management Conduct diagnostic respiratory procedures including pulmonary function testing and ABG sampling Accurately document treatments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other care team members to optimize respiratory therapy plans Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care strategies as needed
