What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Desired Qualifications:
Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings is highly valued Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Commitment to safety and patient-centered serviceResponsibilities:
Conduct respiratory assessments and administer prescribed therapies, including oxygen and aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and airway management Monitor patient responses, adjust therapies accordingly, and report changes in condition to medical staff Operate and maintain ventilators, non-invasive ventilation devices, and related equipment Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis Document interventions, therapy outcomes, and patient progress with accuracy Provide guidance and education to patients and families about respiratory care needs Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionalsWhat We Offer:

The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
