Desired Qualifications:
Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings is highly valued Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Commitment to safety and patient-centered service
Responsibilities:
Conduct respiratory assessments and administer prescribed therapies, including oxygen and aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and airway management Monitor patient responses, adjust therapies accordingly, and report changes in condition to medical staff Operate and maintain ventilators, non-invasive ventilation devices, and related equipment Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis Document interventions, therapy outcomes, and patient progress with accuracy Provide guidance and education to patients and families about respiratory care needs Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
