• Responsibilities Include:

• + Supports the Respiratory Care Manager in a supervisory capacity, managing team member and patient care issues as well as physician concerns.

+ Assists the manager with hiring, performance review, coaching, counseling and termination. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, team member competency and policy review. + Ensures regulatory requirements are met and establishes goals for process improvement. + Acts as a role model for others + Reports to a Manager over multiple departments or multiple campuses. Has greater than 10 direct reports. + Performs other duties as assigned.

• Certifications and Licensures Required:

• + RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) + Active NBRC Credential for

RRT + CPR

(Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) + NRP (Neonatal)

• within 6 months + ACLS (Cardiovascular)
• within 6 months + PALS (Pediatric)
• Preferred

• Education Required:

• + Technical Respiratory Therapy + Associate's Respiratory Therapy
• Preferred

• Experience Required:

• + Acute Care / Respiratory

• Specific Skills Required:

• + NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.
