Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Step into an essential healthcare role assisting patients with respiratory needs as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. You will leverage your expertise to assess, treat, and monitor individuals requiring respiratory care in a dynamic clinical setting for the duration of this contract.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current credentials through
NBRC BLS
certification required; ACLS preferred Recent clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in acute care settings Familiarity with a broad range of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, and administer respiratory therapy to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders Operate and monitor equipment such as ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and nebulizers Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results Educate patients and their families about respiratory care modalities and home equipment Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Ensure accurate charting and maintenance of treatment records Maintain safety and infection control standards at all times Why Consider This Opportunity?
