A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Qualifications & Experience:
Active state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current credentials throughNBRC BLS
certification required; ACLS preferred Recent clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in acute care settings Familiarity with a broad range of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures Strong organizational and communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, and administer respiratory therapy to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders Operate and monitor equipment such as ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and nebulizers Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results Educate patients and their families about respiratory care modalities and home equipment Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Ensure accurate charting and maintenance of treatment records Maintain safety and infection control standards at all times Why Consider This Opportunity?
